TheSea & Sea MDX-D800 Underwater Housing for Nikon D800 / D800E DSLR Camerais a waterproof case enabling you to shoot beneath the surface with your Nikon D800 / D800E digital SLR camera. It has a depth rating of 328 (100 m), enabling you to dive down deep to capture brilliant images and video.The housing provides access to virtually all camera functions, with the exception of the Fn button located on the front of the camera, via mechanical controls like levers and dials, as well as buttons. The D800 / D800Es built-in flash can be activated or disabled. Every button is equipped with a luminous sticker, making it easy to see when youre in dark regions of the underwater world. Plus, the buttons are angled for ease of use. With both hands on the ergonomic grips, you can reach such controls as the main command dial and the sub-command dial for manual photography, as well as video controls.The housing comes with a 0.5x optical viewfinder. Other interchangeable viewfinders are optional (sold separately). These include the VF180 and VF45 1.2x viewfinders, which increase magnification by 1.2x, allowing you to see the entire field of view. The MDX-D800 is constructed from a solid aluminum-alloy block with an anodized finish, making it highly corrosion- and abrasion-resistant. To ensure you are notified of a breach in time to protect your camera against damage, an optional leak sensor (#46115) is available (sold separately).
